Rob's Logs

Choosing and storing your logs.

Hardwood

Hardwood is a strong all-round choice for steady heat and longer burn times. It suits log burners, open fires, and regular winter use.

Softwood

Softwood is good value, lights easily, and is useful when you want a lively fire. It can burn faster than hardwood.

Kindling

Dry kindling helps get the fire established quickly. Add it to your log order in bundles of 3 nets.

Storage

Keep logs off the ground, covered from rain, and open to airflow. A pallet base and a ventilated store work well.
